What $50 Covers

The standard screen price covers everything needed to build and install one standard window screen on-site.

What’s included

  • Standard rectangular window screens
  • Rectangle shaped Square windows qualify — a square is just a special type of rectangle.
  • Up to 40” wide × 40” tall (measured by the opening portion of the window)
  • Helpful sizing note: On many sliding windows, the screen is designed to fit the part that opens (not the fixed glass panel). This is normal and usually means less material and a lower cost, while still giving you bug-free airflow where you actually open the window. If you text me a photo, I’ll confirm what should be measured.
  • Standard 5/16” × ¾” aluminum frame in white, champagne, mill silver, tan, or bronze
  • No Cross-Bars: Standard screens include a perimeter frame only (no center cross-bar).
  • Mesh options: Gray, Charcoal, Black, or White standard mesh only. (Pet Mesh, Solar Screen Mesh, Aluminum Mesh, or Stainless Steel Mesh cost more.)
  • All hardware included: springs, pull tabs, plunger latches, spline, etc.
  • Built, fitted, and installed on-site

Frame colors I carry

I typically have bronze, tan, mill silver, champagne, and white color frames available on the truck. (Availability can vary.)

The colors in the 2 pictures look slightly different due to lighting conditions. One picture was taken in direct sun, and the other was taken in shade.

Standard mesh colors I carry

I typically have grey, black, charcoal, and white color mesh available on the truck. (Availability can vary.) It is difficult to take pictures of mesh color, because it is mostly transparent, so the background is all you see.

Screens costing more than $50

Need a Solar Scree, or Pet Screen? Those cost a bit more. See my Services page for more information.

Sales tax

Sales tax is calculated using your exact local rate and is applied to the parts (materials) portion as required. Because local rates vary, your final total may be slightly higher or lower than the advertised total. For details, see Pricing & Sales Tax.
