Rescreening Service
A window screen has an outside frame and a mesh in the middle. I can reuse your outside frame and replace the mesh in the middle for less than it costs to make a new window screen.
I can rescreen any size window screen with standard mesh for $25. There is no 40" x 40" limit for rescreens.
Rescreening with Pet and Solar Screen meshes cost $55 per screen.
Rescreening does not include repairing the outside frame. Bent frames cannot be reliably reshaped. If the frame is damaged, replacement is usually the best option.
I try to match rescreened window screens to the old ones as closely as possible, but new materials will never exactly match materials that have been out in the sun for years.
- Standard Mesh is usually available in grey, charcoal, black, and white.
- Pet Mesh is usually available in black. Pet Mesh costs more.
- Solar Screen Mesh is usually available in charcoal. Solar Screen Mesh costs more.
- Pull Tabs are usually available in black, clear, white, and mill silver, and in a variety of styles.
- Springs, Corners, and certain hardware components may be replaceable after inspection.

214-986-3100 to get my opinion. Most screens are worth rescreening — but occasionally, replacement is the better option. Even if a few of your screens are beyond repair, I might be able to rescreen most of them and build a few replacements that match well enough.
Rescreens are easier. Because I don't have to measure and cut metal right at your window, I can often take the window screens with me and rescreen them at home. When I take screens with me, I have your screens so I do not need pre-payment, except for special order items like some specialty meshes.
