How I do Business when Making Window Screens

I build custom window screens right at your home. Here’s how the process works:

  • 1
Decide what you’d like done — new screens, repairs, or a full-house upgrade.
or maybe you want someone to repair the ones you have. Maybe you want screens for your whole house, or to cool one room, or a few to allow wind to blow a path through the house.
  • 2
    Decide what colors you want
Pick frame + mesh color from what I carry. If you are not sure, I can show you the materials at your home before I start building.
  • 3
    Book a service call
Call/text or email to book a service call. I need daylight to be able to see your windows and do a good job, so please plan to have me arrive between 7:00 AM and 3:00 PM.
  • 4
I come out for a service call
I come out, and we meet in person. You show me the window(s) and I show you the materials I use so you can confirm your color choices.
  • 5
I build your first window screen at your window(s)
Measured and made on-site for a proper fit.
  • 6
Make sure you are satisfied with the window screen
Check that all these screens are what you want. I will redo anything you are not happy with. Let's get the first one perfect before I start making more like them.
  • 7
    I make more window screens.
I make as many more window screens as you want.

  • 8
I aim to complete the job the same day whenever possible.
If daylight or weather conditions aren’t ideal, I may return to finish so I can ensure the work is done properly.

I like to take one screen that we know fits around and compare it to other windows, so I can see how many like that to make. Then, I can take that one screen home with me and make more just like it. This way, there is no chance of measuring errors that slow things down.

Enjoy the cool breeze and fresh air.
Enjoy it all without creepy crawly pests.
  • 10
    Enjoy a lower electric bill
Opening your windows on cool days can cool your house without using any AC. This saves electricity, and saves wear and tear on your AC unit. I like to leave my windows open at night.
